Lorem Ipsum...STRIPPED
The project arises from an empathy toward a lazy habit of people: that of throwing clothes onto a chair. The formal inspiration comes from the gesture of a tear that opens from the center toward the sides. A single wooden board, “torn,” thus transforms into three functional elements of the chair: the inclined seat, the supporting structure, and two raised ends that can be used to hang clothes.
The final form consists of three pieces of wood: a central inclined board and two symmetrical curved elements, joined through a mortise-and-tenon connection. The tripartite, unfolded configuration of the backrest allows people to freely hang garments or place a backpack in the central part. The concept of stripped is not limited to serving as a source of inspiration for the chair’s morphology, but also expresses the idea that, once the aspects linked to the socialized dimension are stripped away, laziness nevertheless remains an integral part of ourselves.
Griftglow
A table lamp inspired by wine glasses hanging from a bar counter: a simple base plus a suspended structure. When used as a table lamp, it can rest on the shelf to charge, and when disassembled, it can be used as a flashlight. The point where the shelf touches the table lamp is magnetically charged.
The product concept originates from insights into elements of everyday life and explores how these elements can be applied to furniture and appliances to create a new kind of interactive experience.
Series Mossy
“Series Mossy” is a project inspired by Fujigoke, a new type of moss material. This moss changes color from green to yellowish-brown about a year after being opened.
The project focuses on container- and packaging-related products, combining Fujigoke with a biodegradable, water-soluble seaweed-based rubber material.
The Series Mossy collection includes a tea bag package, a face cream box, and a piggy bank.
For the tea bag and face cream packaging, the moss’s gradual color change over one year mirrors the typical 12-month shelf life of tea leaves and skincare products after opening.
The piggy bank uses the water-soluble seaweed material to explore themes of sustainability. Its orange-like form reflects the moss’s color transition from green to a deep orange hue, symbolizing ripening—the moment when the piggy bank is meant to be opened.
HOLD
A design that gives spice shakers a fresh, interactive twist, inspired by handbells.
When you hold and shake it, what comes out is not sound, but pepper, salt, or any seasoning you choose to fill it with.
This was one of my early university projects — technically not the most refined, but it was a piece that deeply changed my way of thinking about design.
Ombra
This is the earliest version of the chair Stripped. It originates from the idea of transforming the backrest into a garment-hanging structure. Compared with Stripped, however, this version more boldly reveals an admiration for the contemporary, high-end, modern-kitsch aesthetic—characterized by streamlined forms added onto traditional structures, heightened polish, and a visually striking finish.
Its initial concept was not the “stripping” of geometric wooden boards, but rather the peeling away of a traditional, organic chair form at the backrest and the base. It aligns less with design in the strict sense and moves closer to a “stylistic” product.
