This is a design with a very simple language. You saw a cocktail rack in a pub, and the moment you saw it, you thought, “That’s it.” It then became the main formal foundation of the whole project. My intervention was merely to make its shape look as harmonious as possible. I wanted it to appear cute, warm, and a bit “IKEA-like.” Unlike Stripped, I didn’t engage in much conceptual reflection for this project, nor did I want to give it a story — I simply hoped it would look pleasing to the eye (if it could).
