STRIPPED
The project arises from an empathy toward a lazy habit of people: that of throwing clothes onto a chair. The formal inspiration comes from the gesture of a tear that opens from the center toward the sides. A single wooden board, “torn,” thus transforms into three functional elements of the chair: the inclined seat, the supporting structure, and two raised ends that can be used to hang clothes.
The final form consists of three pieces of wood: a central inclined board and two symmetrical curved elements, joined through a mortise-and-tenon connection. The tripartite, unfolded configuration of the backrest allows people to freely hang garments or place a backpack in the central part. The concept of stripped is not limited to serving as a source of inspiration for the chair’s morphology, but also expresses the idea that, once the aspects linked to the socialized dimension are stripped away, laziness nevertheless remains an integral part of ourselves.

GriftGlow
A table lamp inspired by wine glasses hanging from a bar counter: a simple base plus a suspended structure. When used as a table lamp, it can rest on the shelf to charge, and when disassembled, it can be used as a flashlight. The point where the shelf touches the table lamp is magnetically charged.
The product concept originates from insights into elements of everyday life and explores how these elements can be applied to furniture and appliances to create a new kind of interactive experience.
