This booklet presents an inner journey through a contemporary art exhibition from my own perspective (but with a more pessimistic mindset). It expresses dissatisfaction with how contemporary art weakens sensory experience while imposing excessive textual explanation, and suggests that contemporary art is increasingly becoming the emperor’s new clothe: no longer about creation or appreciation, but about reinforcing a sense of elevated self-identity.
